30th January 7.30pm – Oxfordshire Meeting & Marmalade Making
£25.00
Shake off the January chill with a burst of citrus sunshine on 27th March 7.30-9.45pm at The Marcham Centre, Barrow Close, Marcham OX13 6TY.
Women’s Society welcome Vale House Kitchen with a one-hour Marmalade Demo & Tasting Workshop — led by an expert preserve-maker. Seville oranges are only available in January and February because they are a seasonal citrus variety with a short natural harvest window so make the most of this window to learn something new.
This session offers a delightful introduction to mastering the art of marmalade-making including a live demo of preparing and shredding Seville oranges. Learn how different fruits, sugars, and even alcohol infusions affect flavour and texture. Get expert guidance on safely potting up jars for long-lasting preserves.
Skip the January blues—join us for an uplifting citrus journey and discover why once you taste homemade marmalade, there’s no going back!
