Route Description (Easy-to-Follow)

From The Greyhound Inn, turn left along Main Street and continue to the crossroads by St Andrew’s Church.

Turn left and follow the road for a short distance before crossing diagonally onto a track heading towards the Downs.

Pass through gates and fields, following the clear path southwards with open countryside ahead.

The route gently climbs through woodland and fields, eventually reaching the Ridgeway.

Turn left along the Ridgeway and enjoy the expansive views.

After around half a kilometre, leave the Ridgeway and follow signs towards Segsbury Camp.

Walk partway around the Iron Age hill fort ramparts, taking in the elevated views.

Descend from the camp and follow paths across fields and woodland, gradually looping back towards Letcombe Regis.

Rejoin the outward path and return to the village, finishing back at The Greyhound Inn.
What to Wear & Bring
March walking can be changeable, so layers are key!
