I founded The Women’s Society because I’ve always believed in the power of women coming together — to talk, to learn, to support one another and to feel part of something meaningful. Community has been a constant thread throughout my life and career.

Long before launching The Women’s Society, I spent many years building and running women’s groups simply because I loved it. I set up local WI groups in my spare time, became President of each of them, and helped grow thriving, welcoming communities. That passion for bringing women together eventually led me to join the Board of WI Enterprises as an External Director, where I contributed to strategy, events, partnerships and the wider development of the Women’s Institute brand. These experiences gave me an invaluable foundation in community-building, event design and creating spaces where women truly feel at home.

Alongside this, I’ve spent over a decade running my own businesses — from founding an award-winning bath and body brand at 21, to consulting for major UK retailers, to building a successful interior design practice in Oxfordshire. Every chapter has strengthened my skills in creativity, leadership and understanding what women genuinely value in their daily lives.

The Women’s Society brings all of this together. It’s a warm, relaxed, pressure-free community where women can connect, unwind, discover new ideas and build real friendships. Whether we’re sharing stories, learning something new, or simply enjoying a glass of wine together, my aim is to create a space that feels supportive, joyful and deeply rooted in belonging.

And at the heart of it all, I also do this for my two daughters. I want them to grow up seeing women lift each other up, create opportunities, and build community. My hope is that one day they’ll carry The Women’s Society into its next chapter — shaped by the same values of connection, kindness and confidence that inspired it from the very beginning.

With love,
